Associate Professor in Ecological Economics
01 Dec 2025As of February 2026, I will be starting as Associate Professor in Ecological Economics at the Institute for Food and Resource Economics at Kopenhagen University.
I am very happy to have found a place so interdisciplinary, a social science department within a natural science faculty that hosts anthropology, sociology, and environmental economics. At the department I will not only develop a Bachelor course in Ecological Economics, I will also continue my work on modelling complex socio-ecological systems, understanding value pluralism, and designing conservation policies that are both effective and acceptable.
In Denmark, there are currently very interesting things going. On a new Ministry for Green Transitions, reforestation, energy transitions, etc.
I feel this is going to be a very meaningful, fullfilling job!
